You may notice two things here: (1) there is only one pod created while we asked for three, and (2) the pod name contains the StatefulSet name. The common format of a kubectl command is: kubectl action resource This performs the specified action (like create, describe or delete) on the specified resource (like node or deployment). Container state is not saved so all of the files that were created or modified during the lifetime of the container are lost. Learn more about debugging an init-container.
